Candice "Pocket" Jones (who first debuted in High Score's Christmas Holiday of Fate I) was Phil's cyborg girlfriend, delivered to him by Santa. She later returned in Superphil as an evil villain with a Mega Man-esque blaster for her left hand, which was when Phil decided to break up with her. Phil thought she would be great for him, but honestly, he didn't want an emo girlfriend. A flashback was shown in The NYE of her stabbing herself in the head. She's probably dead by now.

Candice appeared to have a grudge towards Joel, but since Candice pretty much disappeared after Superphil, her grudge never saw any development. Earlier in the episode, however, Joel remarks that "she" escapes and that it would probably have nothing to do with anything. It's very likely that Joel was keeping Candice locked up for some reason, and so she developed a grudge against him.
