Dad and Son are characters on a television show that was apparently created by Joel.

Dad and Son do not present values that one would expect to find in a typical wholesome family television show. Son regularly runs into ethical issues, but rather than address them, Dad chastises Son regarding issues of far less significance. To which, Son replies with a witty comeback. Cue laughtrack.

In the High Score episode Munched!, they are mentioned along with their theme song while the Bonus Stage gang watches television.
