Jessica Argus

Jessica Argus is Phil's mom, who joined the cast in First Cursh when she came to visit for Phil's birthday. She is presumably in her 40's or 50's, and is very uptight and religious. Like Phil, she is Catholic. Her husband's name is Jason, but he has never been seen nor referenced in the series.

Since she arrived in Bonus Stage, she and Joel have been dating. However, Joel hasn't exactly been faithful to her, as he cheated on her several times and tried dumping her once, but Jessica is generally apathetic and doesn't care about anything (as she explained in HACKCURS Was The Worst Movie Ever Made). Apparently she enjoys video games.

Phil explained in Get Baccurs that Jessica came to Charismaville to preach to Phil due to hearing that Satan had plagued his household. While she was there, she ran into Evil, who activated the Sitcom Reactor, turning Jessica into a hot-looking 25-year-old hippie and completely changing her personality. This probably took place around Virtual Apocolypse.

In Fight Cup, she became the new owner of the Cup of Infinity when she stole it from KOKOR after a brief run-in with him on McWorld. When she holds it, she glows, apparently with superpowers. Joel refused to give it back, and KOKOR died as a result. This later fueled KOKOR and Stomach King's quest to kill Phil and Joel in season 6. To this day, Joel still has the Cup of Infinity.

In Fit for Fatpants, Jessica blackmailed Joel and became the leader of the eShip crew. She actually did a good job, doing things such as befriending the SeaPeople in Life in the Blast Lanes.

During Who Shot Mr. Malice, she went insane, which Joel initially thought might've had something to do with being shot by Rya in Ficus Group; however, seeing as how Joel hit her over the head, it might have been caused by that. Since then, she's been spurting out non-sequitors and just plain acting crazy.

Joel explained in Depart's All Yours that he hit her over the head in the real world and brought her to Bonus Stage against her will. In the same episode, she had a brief argument with June when they were fighting over Joel. Strangely, June didn't seem to care that she was going out with him up until then. She then left Bonus Stage by teleporting using her watch.
