Battle Formulas

That's right, the formula for calculating damage. The battle formula is different for each attack in the game, but mainly hold true to the principle of the attacker's strength, divided by the target's defense, multiplied by ten, plus a random number up to 10, plus or minus a set value. Here's a rundown of the specific formulas.

Phil's Stats

In this RPG, the only existing stats are HP, STR, and DEF. That's right, no MAG or AGI, folks. In this section, I'll discuss how stats grow through levelling and items.

Beginning of Game

  • HP: 50
  • STR: 5
  • DEF: 4

Stat Growth Through Levelling

  • Level 2: HP + 5, STR + 1, DEF + 1
  • Level 3: HP + 6, DEF + 1
  • Level 4: HP + 9, STR + 1
  • Level 5: HP + 13, STR + 1, DEF + 1
  • Level 6: HP + 17, DEF + 1
  • Level 7: HP + 20, STR + 1
  • Level 8: HP + 25, STR + 1, DEF + 1
  • Level 9: HP + 30, DEF + 1
  • Level 10: HP + 35, STR + 1
  • Level 99: HP + 700, STR + 999, DEF + 999

Stat Growth Through Items

  • Holy Soda: HP + 10
  • Action Soda: STR + 1
  • Safemart Soda: DEF + 1

Levels

A chart of how much EXP is required to reach each level. Strangely, extra EXP does not spill over into other levels, so you'll always need the same amount of EXP to level up.
