kornyhatemachine is the administrator and creator of Glitchi. She previously worked on The Center for Glitch Studies, which was a site dedicated to collecting glitches. However, after entering college she realized the difficulties of constantly updating a site on her own, and decided to move all the site's glitches to this wiki, so that anyone can freely add glitches.

Some background: Playing videogames was always a family-bonding experience, I remember growing up on the Super Nintendo, playing Super Mario World with my dad and sister Connie. Ever since then, glitches have always been exciting to me. Our copy of Yoshi's Island one day deteriorated and became hugely glitchy. Often Yoshi would end up behind levels, or all the sprites would disappear, and in general crazy things would happen. It creeped me out but also fascinated me. It was interesting to learn about the programming aspects of games, but also very fun to explore glitched worlds. The Pokemon Missingno glitch also influenced me, as it had a huge impact on gameplay but was also very exciting. My sister and I discovered many glitches over the years but I didn't see a strong outlet to share glitches in the video game community. That inspired me to create the Center for Glitch Studies, and now this wiki.
