Big Fat Hairly LAN
This is the page for Thorne Lawler's Big Fat Hairy LAN to be held on the 9th of September
As Gary Pendergast suggests, this page is for people to add in their suggestions of what equipment/games they can bring, what they'd like to play, if they need any help getting there, that kind of thing. Especially helpful for keeping track of who has licences for games that require individual keys.

Likely Games
I am open to suggestions, but here's a rough list for starters:
(We can provide temporary installs of these games for PC): Tier 1: Unreal Tournament 2004, Rise of Nations Note: There may also be a copy of RON for Mac available, assuming I buy.
(Bring em if you've got em, may be played): Tier 2: Counterstrike & Counterstrike Source (Steam reccomended), Descent III, Rise of Legends, bzflag, Civilization 4, Spellcast, Warcraft III (and/or Frozen Throne)
Of course, you should feel free to bring whatever you like.

Please try to bring, or organize in advance with me: - A computer adequate for playing one or more of the games listed above. - Your own power cord and ethernet (CAT-5) cable. - Munchies.
The Plan
There will be some opportunities for people to do setup on the Fiday night beforehand if they arrange it with me.
We will probably seek Pizza or other sustenance on the day. There is also a hell of a lot of good asian food within walking distance.
If you ave a spare folding table or suitable portable chair, please let me know: I presently have seating and gaming surfaces for about 6 or 7.
